Just in case anybody else has a copy of today's Daily Express and has read Jennifer Selway's column on Page 13................

Yep, my entry for competition (first thing I'd ever gone in for) made the calendar that year. And I appeared on BBC Radio Cambs no less.

I had a flying lesson once in a motorised glider. The instructor spent ages telling me that snow was fine but rain made it handle a bit dodgy and if if rained he'd take over and bring us back. Once we got up there it bucketed down! Was a lovely experience though and flying through clouds was brill. Must be great to do it for a living.

I had hoped the thread title "It's Me !" was short and sweet but generic enough to apply to everybody who chose to contribute - "warts-n-all". I'd be more than happy for Richard to change the title, if that's possible - how about "Stars of the Forum" ? or "Page 3" ? 
My entry was just a "Starter for Ten"
