Burndy directionality

Posted by: jsaudio on 13 October 2016

I have a NAC 272 powered by a 555PS. The Burndy cable has a band on one end that has a S-XPS designation. The dealer installed it with the band end into the 555PS. Is that correct?

Agreed. Band should be at source end

I will change after I speak to my dealer. Does it affect SQ?

I also have a NAP300 DR with its own PS and 2 Burndy cords,is there directionality there too? and with the cords that connect the NAP 300 to the NAC 272? Thanks for the replies.

Yes. It's all in the manuals.

The bands on the Naim leads always go nearest the source of the music.

Thanks for the useful advice. The connection guide is excellent.
