SN2 adding SC (non DR)

Given SC (non DR) prices have come down a lot, would it be a good idea for SN2 to add SC (non DR) ?

Anyonr using this combo or tried it can comment?

SN2 has a DR circuitry. When using an external power supply, you'd be essentially replacing the internal DR circuit with a SuperCap's one.

I would advise against such a move.

My advice is to go for a Hicap DR makes a big improvement with SN2. If you plan to go to separates like Nac282 or 252 later on then it's a different discussion.

My experience was with a SN not a SN2, so may not translate . What I found was that a SC2 was a bit too much for the SN- the HC2 was perfect. Overemphasized aspects of the presentation-not as musical as the HC2. I would agree with both Adam's and Moussa's comments above...

Tried a SCDR on my SN2, and felt it just too much. A bit like hi def screen with full contrast and brightness.

Thanks to everyone responded. My SN2/SC2 plan is suspended. Still want to get/try it on Nat 05 XS tuner.
