Been a while since I've visited here, the main reason being the nait 3 hearted system I bought back in '97 has mostly just kept on doing its stuff. Exceptions are the cd3 transport dying, and a 5i was the result, and the nait going back to Ritchie's for a re-cap on its 15th birthday. While that was getting done I looked at a ND5 and was Most Impressed, but didn't have anything that needed streaming and couldn't afford it anyway...
While my current streaming needs will be looked after by a Google Chromecast Audio, I can see that changing but still can't afford the current ND5. Any plans afoot for a streaming partner in the si range?
Pete.

Naim never say anything about their product plans before they launch something and you won't get any reply from anyone, eg a staff member, who knows anything. So no-one here will give you a useful answer.
Your best bet might be to look for a pre-owned ND5-XS or alternatively look at pre-owned Uniti units that come onto the market as the new Uniti range rolls out over the next six months or so.

With the new streaming board of the new Uniti series I think there's now much more possibility of an ND5si.
However, only some time after the new Unitis are in full production, to allow R&D and production engineering time for the new product. If it ever does happen I'd expect it to be a Uniti Atom (actually the complete Atom PCB inside the box!) in a 5si box, with a mono display (LCD), digital only inputs and the volume control, pre and power amps not enabled (and not populated on the board).
