Anyone googled "cloud upnp" recently?
i'd imagine there'd be some legal issues too - if it lets you stream to more than one renderer, at what point does it turn into one big file sharing system?
it'll be interesting to find out what 'audiophiles' actually listen to, so busy are they comparing FLAC to WAV, mains cables, shelves ..

I agree with you Likes, they do spend far too much time on this kind of stuff when they could be comparing the eight different players available for the Mac or 26 different players for the PC.
I wonder if it would be possible to just transmit music through the airwaves to some kind of wireless receiver, perhaps to a roof mounted aerial. Imagine, not only music, but news, plays, test match special, Ipswich Town football commentaries all coming into this magic box connected to your hi-fi. I guess it'll never happen and I must have my head in the clouds.
If you do use one of these cloud services for back-up then please encrypt your data first - you never know where it might go and who might have access to it.
