On my Olive music server, all albums, artists, tracks, playlists are sorted by alphabetical order.
Howver, when I play the uPNP on the UnitiQute, all these lists seem to be at random (may be in the order they were loaded on the server). What is the best way to "sort" these lists on the unitiqute? The manual does not give any instructions. Is it possible to sort or do I have to scroll down long lists?
Is there a search facility on the uQ?
Any help greatly received.

The qute is a renderer, your problem lies with the server

Hi Christian,
The UQ displays lists in exactly the order that they are supplied by the UPnP server. If the UPnP server chooses to provide the lists in alphabetical order then UQ will do so too.
Are you using EyeConnect by any chance? If so then EyeConnect is providing the list in the current iTunes sort order. For example if you have sorted iTunes by track length then Eyeconnect will provide the list sorted to the UQ in this order. To fix it, go to iTunes and click the album column header to resort the list by album name then go back to the UQ and refresh the list by backing up one level and reselecting the list in question.
RE searching, use the number buttons on the remote to jump to a position in the list or use the n-Stream iPhone app to do a text search

Tom
