Go on, how much?

Posted on: 21 November 2016 by wenger2015

Only 23k...

Posted on: 21 November 2016 by hungryhalibut

They are rather lovely. The bit on the right would look nice with some flowers in the top.

Posted on: 21 November 2016 by Drewy

I just googled them to get an idea how big they are. They're bloody huge.

Posted on: 21 November 2016 by wenger2015

Apparently they come in a number of different colours,  maybe a bunch of yellow daffodils would work well.

Not sure if they need to be close to a wall? Or thrown over a wall?

Proudly designed and made in Poland

Apparently they were one of the stars at the recent Warsaw Audio Show. Powered by some exotic Polish-made tube amps.
Another start was a Statement running into........ wait for it.... wait..... Monitor Audio Platinum II 500

Missed the show this year - business trip to China.

Apparently it's the second biggest audio show in Europe, after the Munich one. That was a surprise....

It is so large nowadays, they had to run in 3 hotels and the National Stadium this year.

Jardis Eurythmie II, I don't think they're available any more.

Maybe next year I just might go.....by the description it makes the Bristol show seem a bit 2nd Division...

I'm not hating them. In the right, large, very contemporary room, they'd look great. A kind of functional statue. They have pleasing proportions and an elegant simplicity to my eye, but I get that a lot of people wouldn't like them. I see reproduction architecture and furniture everywhere I look, so understand that people often have an aversion to functional and modern style. A lot of people mistakenly think "ornate or fancy" = "classy" = "quality".

Hi-fi horn speakers have a limited but vibrant boutique market. Craftsmanship, artistry, and specific tuning to the fore. Tube amps, active crossovers, DIY components, and a strong emphasis on system and room matching. I think they look exquisite for their market and would love to hear them, but I can't see where or why a Naim user would have any practical interest them.

Stuff a flower in them seems entirely ignorant. Has anyone here actually heard these? As you say, reviews are extremely good.
