Sold my LP12 this year to put all my resources into streaming, but I've still got a bit of vinyl left, so I have just GOT to have one of these.....

I hope you're not serious!!  At least not for any vinyl of any value.

I'm the same; Santa has come already.  Though for me camera lenses this year not audio equipment.

Well it looks like santa will come a bit late to my place this year... the new uniti range won't be available until January, but at least I have put in an order today with my local hi-if for the Uniti Atom...  now it's just a waiting game.

Did you get to hear the little Atom before placing the order? If so, just wondered how it compared to your Qute & NAP100 in your profile image.

Hey Yetizone, I only heard the Atom at the audio show in Hammersmith, London. There was no Qute or any other old uniti range to compare it to, but it did sound very good. so I'm buying it knowing that Naim would not make it sound worse, but also because I have been after a DSD capable DAC, and didn't want to have more boxes just for that. If I still have my NAP when I get the Atom I will be testing it to see if it makes a significant difference, as it did with the Qute.

Christmas has come early for me. Just got my 300 back from James at Tom Tom audio. It's been back to naim for dr upgrade. Only a couple of hours in so far and my feet are already tapping. By Christmas it should be starting to sing nicely.

Thanks for the reply - much appreciated. The inability to experiment with DSD files is one thing that irks me a little about my Qute2 as well, as I'd like to tinker with that format. Agree, the Atom is hardly going to be inferior to the Qute, so I'm assuming it'll be a safe buy - just wondered if you'd managed to audition back to back with the Qute2 to see how much of a leap forward it is
