NAC152XS with old Flatcap

Apart from purist philosophical concerns is there any reason why a NAC152XS cannot be used with a serviced original Flatcap?

I believe the original Flatcap has only one output, whereas the 152 can take two. The Fc 2x is probably the one to go for if you don't want the latest one, as both its outputs are the same.

Just to expand on Nigel's post above, the original Flatcap has a single dual-rail 24V output.  The Flatcap2 has one dual-rail 24V and one dual-rail 22V output (optimised for the CD5, apparently).  The Flatcap 2x and 2xs both have two dual-rail 24V outputs.

You can use any of them with the NAC152xs but only the Flatcap2 (would need confirmation from Naim on whether the 22v is ok here), Flatcap2x and Flatcap2xs can be fully utilised with both supplies used.

Hi Chris,

The FC had its smoothing capacitor and tants replaced approximately 6 months ago.
