Kudos S20s

Chaps,
I have a pair on home demo. Over the next week or so I'll report some findings. First very early impressions - reavealing in the right kind of way and appear to inttegrate very well into the room.
More to come.
Regards,
Lindsay
Mine are 2 metres apart and about 18/19 inches away from the rear wall.
The current set up has the system between the speakers - which is why they need to be pulled slightly further away from the wall than might otherwise be the case.

............ & listen in a chair thats 6 foot 25cm distance (sorry) (honest) ![]()
I am fluent in metric and imperial - and it's closer to 6 feet 30 cm ![]()
I have seen photographic evidence that they are on their way ![]()
and I have seen boxes with your name on Lindsay ![]()
Mulberry posted:Hi Lindsay,
thanks for sharing your thoughts and impressions. Can you and possibly other S20 owners tell me/us others a little more about your preferred placement (i. e. how far/close to the wall, toe-in...).
Surely, every system is different and every room is different. Generalising placement isn't going to work. There can be no substitute for extensive listening and taking time in getting the speakers in the perfect placement for you.

Agreed, but sometimes a starting point can be useful. Were I to own S20s I would have no problem in sharing a bunch of measurements that would take no more than a few minutes of my time to pass on. Valueless they may prove to be, but no skin off my nose!! Surely the unconditional sharing of information is one of the prime 'raisons d'ĂȘtre' of the forum?
Listening to Jazz file on R3. Really amazing how utterly superb. FM is.
It sure is - and BBC R3 is up there as being one of the best on FM I am sure

Hi PB,
all of this is true. But the nearest Kudos dealer is not around the corner (=pretty far away) from my place. I was just wondering if someone has his S20s placed at least similar to what I can do at home. Happily this seems to be the case. Thanks to all of you!
Anything to report Lindsay?
Always something going on PB![]()
I hear Santa has been Lindsay. ![]()
He has. I've seen a photo...
Santa told me David. ![]()
Well if you see him again Nigel, do please ask him whether he's got my Uniti Core at the bottom of his sack, because my dealer hasn't called me to say it's in my stocking yet.....
Best
David
All this talk of dealers does sound dodgy!
Good HiFi always was somewhat addictive.
