Could someone who uses Amazon Glacier for archival backup of their music library please share approximate cost data for retrieving data from the service?

Any other comments would be appreciated as well.

To restore within 5 min is $0.035 per GB within 3-5 hours it is $0.012 per GB and within 5-12 Hours it is $0.003 per GB

depending on the region that you store on those $ can flux a little - also when talking about restore within we are talking about the time till the file is ready to download - you then need to add the time to pull the restore down.

The lower rates will also depend on what client you are using to facilitate the backup / restore and if it is capable of initiating the lower price restore requests
