MU-SO supports ipod 4th generation?

I connected my 12-year-old 4th generation ipod to mu-so, apparently it doesn't support.

Just wondering is there anyway to work around?

I guess you could use the 3.5mm analogue connection, but I'm not sure what the sound quality would be like.

I would be inclined to pick up a modern or recent iPod and move your music to that. Of course there are lots of alternative approaches but except for Chris's suggestion of an analogue connection, I think your old iPod isn't going to do it for you.
