Bart posted:Ive been getting a funky problem with iRadio on the 5.1 app. The stream is playing, but I get a generic icon that doesn't identify the the station after the iPhone has been off for a while. The 'stop stream' button doesn't work; the music keeps going! And if I try to pick a different source (such as upnp or TV), it just jumps back to iRadio. I have to shut it off at the NDS or Qute2 (happens to both).
Hi Bart -
Your problem sounds similar to mine. Am not able to switch sources after my iPad has been off for a while, but quitting/restarting the app (at least once, sometimes twice) seems to fix it for me.

Hi Bart, I've fixed a few niggle issues during app beat testing by deleting the app & then run a hard power cycle on the iOS (press & hold home & power button until the "apple" appears) When reinstalling the app it needs to have your personally setting re-set, but it seems to loose whatever is causing the glitch - or at least it has with me quite a few times
Klout10 posted:Question, not only related to the latest version: via the iPad, I've put my mu-so on repeat - you can find the repeat and shuffle buttons in the app - but I don't see these in my iPhone app (iPhone 5S with latest software)...
Any thoughts on this one?
Anybody?
Hi -
i have a Qute not a MuSo,but hoping app experience on iPhone carries over...
Selext your album from UPnP and start playing, then go to the Play Queue view by tapping the now-playing track album art down at the bottom beside the volume. It will say Play Queue at the top of the screen, with an ellipsis fro "more" to the right. Hit the three dots and you get shuffle (a crossing arrows icon) and repeat (a looping arrow icon) plus menu text to clear Queue or Save As Playlist.
Hope this helps.

Trivial but on my iPhone 6s the "now playing" track info that appears under the station header only randomly works when tuned in to an I radio station.
Thinking about it, it was fine before upgrading to 5.1
Thankx Alan, I found it! Sounded like a stupid question, But I really had no clue

I did a full reinstall, but I'm back to getting this bug in iRadio. Can't get to any other source, and the volume slider appears as all the way down at 0 volume so I can't even turn it down! Hopefully the Naim team are reading this thread!
Restarted the iPhone and the app is still at it . . . it forces itself back to iRadio. I can pick UPnP, TV, whatever, but it quickly shows a 'reconnecting' message and jumps back to iRadio FUBAR
I see what you mean Bart & I've posted a report on the beta thread hoping it will get attention at Naim HQ when the holidays are over. Something is different, it was OK, something has changed, i would not be surprised if it turns out to be a vTuner (iRadio service) issue rather than the Naim app.

HH, that is not the same. When I scroll in the middle of the screen with over 8.000 albums and then I remember the name in 4.9 I just typed it in. And now I have to scroll to the top! So please give me the icin back. It is not so complicated!
Ver. 5.1 always reconnecting. Driving me nuts.

Always reconnecting iRadio....? If so that's what happens with iRadio for me if I play iRadio and then try to switch to a different source. Otherwise, on just UPNP, it's fine. TV is fine too.

Ah, now I see what you are getting at. The magnifying glass would certainly be more flexible.
+1
Have been commenting on this, plus requesting the reinstatement of this functionality from the 1st Beta release of 5.0
Not only is the filter box only accessible when at the top of a library and not an 'on-demand' search capability, but when you start typing the search criteria into the filter, it moves and repositions itself at the top of the screen, moving the entire screen contents up, which is poor UX/UI design.
Looking to getting these usability issues corrected in an early January release from the development team.

Improved performance. Deleted the App, hard reset holding the power and home buttons. After reboot reinstalled Naim App and so far only one incident that quickly resolved but still see it from time to time but no more total lock up at this point which was rendering the App useless. So far so good. I'll respond if things change for those with the same problem.
