Switching UnitiLite on and off

Unit is switched on at the mains socket and on at back.
Should I leave it permanently switched on once set up or switch it on and off every time I use it.
The unit is in a cabinet so if I do switch it off it would have to be at the mains ssocket switch is that OK.
Naim gear is designed to be left on all the time ... sounds better also

Finding it gets a bit hot if I leave it on all the time so will have to switch it on and off using the mains switch. Hope this is not a problem

How hot is it? If you check the Status via the front panel display you can see the temperature, and as long as it's not going over 50 degrees C it should be OK. If it gets too hot, it will shut itself down automatically, so I wouldn't worry about it unless this happens repeatedly. Having said that, if it's in a closed cabinet, that's not ideal - it's best to give it some ventilation.
