SN2/vrs 135s

I was using a 82,Supercap,250 and a CDI player last year I decided to look at streaming and bought a ex demo NDX, CDs ripped to a Synology NAS.

Quite frankly I was staggered at the sound quality of the NDX the CDI just ended up gathering dust, earlier this year I upgraded my Olive kit to the new black box stuff and I was in the fortunate position to accommodate numerous black boxes and I had an NDX to start with.

I did listen to a 272,XPSdr and a 250dr at the Bristol HiFi show earlier this year and this prompted me to the upgrade of my Olive system after hearing the new Naim black boxes.This three box system is absolutely stunning.

Eighteen months ago I would of never thought that I would have an all streaming system but I would suggest you listen to a 272,XPSdr and a 250dr and compare it to a SN2 and your CD player to see which you prefer, your dealer should be able to offer good advice as well as arranging suitable demonstrations.

One final point I have purchased more CDs and listen to a wider range of music than I ever did before plus you have the added benefits of the Internet radio or FM if you choose this option.

Just a suggestion as asked have fun listening and take your time.

Despite all the lavish praise it has heaped on it by some on this forum a SN2 is a mediocre amp compared to what you have currently. Only downsize to that degree if you absolutely must. You will regret it..

Finally this should not cost a penny but leave you money on top going from 52/sc/135 to sn2

You have a great system, sure, it takes up some space but why spend for less? If you don't like it there must be something wrong.
