Hmmm ... what do you mean by "upload a CD"?

The NServ app does store information on albums from its last use and can appear to be "live" with the usual views appearing but it may not actually be connected to your UnitiServe

... the lack of a "playing" button would seem to suggest that this is the case; although note that this button does not appear on every page.

In my case, when this happens, the "playing" button is replaced by a "connect" button;

if this is not there then go to the "mor" tab and then "settings" where there is an option to connect to your server.

Can you confirm that you're using the Unitiserve to play via an SPDIF connection to a DAC rather than over a network? (Your profile only shows that you have a CD player.)

I usually find that restarting the Unitiserve, and then the app too if necessary, sorts this sort of issue easily.

I'd reboot your UnitiServe (or HDX whichever you're using)
