Stageline (V1) with flatcap and XS2 - does it work?

I have read a dozen posts and looked at the manual and as far as i can tell you cannot connect an original stageline (one output) to a flatcap and then connect to an XS2. I'm running it with a snaic into aux 2 for now. It looks like it would work for the old nait 5 but I can't manage it with the XS2. I try the same connections and get nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

You would require a 4-5 pin source lead to do this, taking the 4-pin from the output next to the 5-pin on the flatcap. However, you might find that using the aux-2 powered socket with flatcap powering XS2 sounds better from a music timing standpoint.
