Power on/off naim gear

I know that you are not supposed to turn the Naim gear off to keep them warm and not affect sq. Does this include all Naim gear or mainly the amplification? What about the N-sub and flatcap? Is it in any way harmful for the gear if you regularly turn it on/off?

You can easy turn off your sub when not in use

Also your poweramp if using separate psu on preamp, best letting these run 24/7

Trying so a couple of weeks and yet some weeks with all turned on, rethink if you experience any main diff

I have my intg amp and CD on 24/7

But not the tuner

I keep my SN2 and Hicap DR on all the time. I once turned them off for a few days and then when I turned them on it took a couple of days to get to the sound quality that I used to have when they were on. So now I keep them on all the time.

I would leave it all switched on, including the N-Sub, which does, after all, contain an amplifier.

Pre-amp and power supply best left on. That goes for phono stages also. I leave the power amp on too, but turn off the power supply to the turntable.

Keeping it on saves heating too by increasing the ambient temperature of the room... a bit.

I leave the cd3.5, 72/HiCap and the Lingo (on a different radial spur) on all time. Turn the180 on one hour or so before any listening session. Has worked for me for more than I care to remember.
