iRadio not available

Posted by: Kurt L on 28 December 2016

Hi All,

iRadio suddenly dropped in Belgium an hour ago. The display states "Connecting". I have the same on my Mu-so & ND5 XS.

Anyone similar experience?

Who to contact for these kind of issue?

Thanks,
k

Yes, it's not working for me too in Japan. I have the same connecting message. Thanks!

Same for me in UK

Thanks for your swift reply. Seems to be a worldwide issue.

I figured out that some stations do work (like Naim radio for example).

Can only get BBC radio stations here in the South West of England ?

Same issue here in Wales! I couldn't even navigate the iRadio input to see if any other stations were working.

edit: Seems to be working normally again now.

I can get the only 3 stations that matter (to me); R3, R4 and Paradise. UK

I'm still getting the 'perpetually "reconnecting"' bug in the Naim App 5.1 when trying to use iRadio; I had hoped that this current glitch was related but apparently it isn't.

Its better than it was,  at the moment,  but its far from perfect.  It seems much the same as I posted on the beta thread  .... it's slow or sticks in the spinning wheel, then its OK.  sometimes slow, then OK, then not OK.    I've re-installed the app including a hard re-start a few times,  no change.

Big technical issues I bet plus the dark forces of corporations not wanting us to get anything free.  When I was moving from LA to the desert and doing a basic budget my Time Warner basic channels had gone up to $14/mo fee times twelve I dropped them out here, Direct TV satellite was $54 but I have an eastern feed so the big shows start at 5PM.  Don't get much local stuff out here.

I do pay a monthly fee to RP because I don't have to listen to crappy commercials and  he plays such interesting music.
