flashing mute button

Posted by: deditionsd on 29 December 2016

Today when I awoke the mute button on my NAC 202 was flashing (always leave unit powered on) and made everything inoperable (remote volume, etc). Manual suggested flashing source mute button indicates a power supply or link plug is incorrectly installed. How could this be? Turned on and off power strips and checked connections. Surprised when unplugging the mains input cord of the NAP 200 ONLY and replugging fixed it. What happened? Was this a fluke? A first in a decade.

Was the NAPSC disconnected?  Maybe the mains plug was slightly out?

Still perplexed as the unit is not moved, but no problem since. It has been suggested that I reconnect all of the plugs and cables which I have done. Hopefully, it was a power fluke.
