As my system has developed, I have the brain side on the left Fraim stack, topped by a turntable motor, and the brawn side on the right Fraim stack, topped by my Verdier turntable. Immediately below the turntable on the right stack is the Superline, with the Supercap DR directly below it. On which edge of the rack should I put the half-width Superline? Now it is on the left side close to the brain side. Which is the preferred side for the Superline? Given the flow of the cables, it needs to be on one side of the rear Fraim support or the other.
I am working to get a custom phono DIN to BNC cable, and the maker recommends doing it as short as possible to minimize capacitance. If the right side of the shelf is the optimal positioning relative to the Supercap DR, I could do an even shorter cable.
Thanks for the help.

If you can t put the superline on a separate shelf and want to keep all just on the fraim , i would put the superline on the left side above the supercap. The transformer within the supercap is on the right hand side. Ut certainly not sitting at its best above a supercap, but at least you minimizing the influence of the magnetic field. As far as i know the superline is one of the most sensitive boxes.

Skip, I too have my SL on the top of the brawn stack which it shares with the TT PSU. Below is the 555PS, then 552PS then SC. The SL is on the right half of the top shelf. I did plan to try some different combinations over the festive period but just never got round to it. I was going to move the SC up to sit just below the SL but I will wait on this until you get some more suggestions on this thread!

Mine is staying on top. It is on the top of the brain stack. On the left stack to the right of the turntable motor. I mis typed this earlier. It sounds a lot better away from the SC and with space above and below it. My new BNC cable will have to be longer, not shorter.
