Can a NAP200 drive Totem Forest?

Does anyone know if the NAP200 is capable of driving the Totem Forest? Or will it have to be the NAP 250?

I know one forum member who drives them with a 250Dr

My then NAP 200 drove my Dyna Contour 1.8s well enough and I once heard one driving Neat XL6s  so I can't see  why not.

But  you'll want a 250dr soon enough

I had a 200 that did a fine job driving a pair of Hawks .. 88 dB 6 ohms

I spent a few hours at our dealer with a friend who was auditioning the Totem Forests driven by a Nait XS. The room was on the small side, music was mostly jazz and some classical with vocals, all played at decent volume levels (louder than I normally play at home). The presentation was exceptionally musical and unstrained, a pleasure to listen to. Best thing to do of course is try them yourself with a NAP 200 and your own music, preferably at home. The two amps have also a different voicing, something else to consider beyond power.

Hi,
I am a happy owner of the Totem Forest Design loudspeakers and now I'm driving them with the Nap 300 DR.
They are fantastic loudspeakers and I noticed that they are not stop to increase the SQ when you upgrade your Naim equipments. Before the nap 300 DR I had a Nap 250-2 and they sounded very well. With 300DR now they are flying, really. My living room and hifi room is 54 square meters, so no very small and the sound quality is very good with them. To return to your question, yes, I think that Nap 200 is right to drive the Totem Forest.
Sorry for my bad inglese.
Regards
Alessandro

The Totem Forest sig. is also on my upgrade list. I too am using a NAP200DR. It will come down to the Totem, or PMC.

I have just recently decided to consign my Totem Forrest speakers after finding a nice pair of SL2 speakers.  I was driving them with a NAP 250.2 DR and they sounded great.  I upgraded from the Hawk to Forrest, but I also upgraded my amp before making that switch....So while I have experience in this arena, I have no direct answer. I did audition PMC recently as well and didn't find a reason to switch from the Totem at the time, if that is in anyway helpful.
