I use it and to date have never had a problem on the NDS. Is your NDS Ethernet wired?

I pay for the 'Hi Res' but can't comment on the improvement because I haven't heard the standard version. I am pleased with the SQ however.

I take the simple view, rightly or wrongly, that having invested in the NDS it seems a false economy not to go for the best source.

I use Tidal with my NDS and very, very occasionally I have had the track skipped problem. It is a problem that may have coincided with internet problems but I can in no way be sure of that. It is however so rare as to not bother me. Probably worth contacting Naim Customer Services to see if thay can shed any light.

I should add I use the HiFi version of Tidal.

If the Tidal input on your streamer is set to HiFi, but you only have a lower subscription, I would guess that it might cause your problem. Try adjusting this on the Naim app Tidal input or on the front panel display.

Better still, if you own a Naim streamer, you should get a 3 month free trial of Tidal HiFi. You'll probably need to set it up with a new email address and cancel your old sub.

I don't THINK I am having a problem with skipped tracks. But so far, I'm mostly listening to stuff I don't know well, so might not notice if a track was skipped!
