Mac OSX Lion and HDX

I host Itunes on a public folder on a Mac. Just wondering if any other HDX/Mac user's have upgraded to OSX Lion yet, and if so can comment on any compatibility issues.

I have one problem. I have Quark and this does not work on Lion because it's on the old 'Power Mac' system.

May or may not be of relevance. But I have a sonos zp90 which is uses my iTunes folder to stream from. After the upgrade to lion it stopped working. Literally an hour after the upgrade I got an emIl from Sonos stating that there is an compatibility issue and not to upgrade just yet. Arrghh!! Too late

It may be useful to know that one area where Lion has created more than a few issues is with WiFi stability - notably connection dropping and poor rates data transfer between two networked computers. This is particularly prevalent with Apple's own normally rock solid Airport equipment.

There is a history of major updates causing issues in OSX - usually sorted with a fairly prompt .1 update.

I have had a small issue with data transfer - solved by rolling back the firmware update on both of my Airport base stations but there is a slight chance that Lion might create similar problems with the Serve or HDX.

Not sure if it's quite the same, but I've upgraded to Lion and run Playback uPnP server to access iTunes from my Uniti.   It works fine.  My weird missing artwork problems seem to have disappeared as well which is a bonus.

Despite telling myself it was a bad idea to upgrade what was a perfectly smooth running system I made a clone copy with SuperDuper and took the plunge.

Very impressed - the printers and scanner still work, the whole thing seems smoother and no issues apart from my screen calibrator (x-rite will be bringing out a fix in September).

HDX still works fine and WinXP on VMware (used for the DTC) seems to be a bit zippier.

Very happy - but as always backup/clone first just in case you need to go back.

I'm using a MBP 17" early 2008 model.

I updated and usually don't for 6 months, but I don't work so not inconvenienced yet.  One woman in the reviews of Lion saw it wouldn't handle Word docs so she didn't install it because that's 3/4 of her clients.

Safari sure does load fast and I like a few other things.   There were plenty of warnings that old windows programs won't work.  I'just tried Photoshop v11.2  and it opened up tho a bit slow, I thought i'd have to buy it again.
