Hdtracks.com 24/192 REM Out of Time

Hi

Anybody tried 192/24 flac files from a hdx(share) through a ndac.

One of my favourite albums is available in hd. Does my setup play this format?

Will download tonight if I can confirm it will play

I've listened to several HDTracks hi-res downloads. 96/24 and 88/24. Very hit or miss in my opinion.

Moving Pictures, Days Of Future Passed, Tommy, and Sea Change are superb. Some of the Stones albums are good.

Elton John, Peter Frampton, the Eagles, and several others were very disappointing. They weren't as good as the equivalent CD or LP, in my opinion.

Comprehensive, in depth discussion about these downloads on many other sites, forum rules keep me from mentioning them by name.

So far I've downloaded Alison Krauss & Union Station, Bare Naked Ladies, and Steely Dan from the recommendations above - The Alison Krauss is really outstanding, and I think the others will grow on me. Engineering quality seems excellent on all 3.
