Dark Side of the Moon - vinyl reissue 2013

I don't have any version of dsotm - all I heard was a cassette tape back in the early '80s. Given I don't wish to source a vintage pressing would the reissue be worth considering ? The jacket claims analogue master tapes as a source and Grundman as an engineer. I guess some digital work went on at some point to compensate for tape wear - so should I just go for a CD? I' m looking for something that's hi fidelity not just 'faux-vinyl'.

Looking at disc then you have the 30th Anniversary SACD remastered by James Guthrie (if you have the source)

Great if you're into surround sound or if you just want a decent stereo reproduction of the album

In any format there is something for everyone in this album, a true masterpiece that shouldn't be ignored
