French Nostalgie station

Posted by: daveyu on 24 January 2017

I have just bought a ND5 XS and my wife (she is French) would like to stream French station Nostalgie, when I select it in iRadio

it says "station unavailable", does anyone know why, other French stations work fine

I suspect this will be a vTuner problem. If you contact Naim support, they may be able to contact vTuner and get them to sort it out.

"It is possible that the URL for the station has changed and it hasn’t been updated in the vTuner indexes – I will report it to vTuner as it looks like all of the Nostalgie stations under “Location” -> “Europe” -> “France” -> “All Stations” are unavailable."

We love 'Nostalgie' when holidaying in France...'nostalgie, nostalgie,nostalgie!'...takes me right back to the Languedoc!

It seems that Radio Nostalgie have recently changed how they're doing their URLs and streaming. Talking with vTuner I am told that...

"NRJ France has been making changes. In the next few weeks we (and all others) will only be limited to a certain amount of stations. This is the decision of NRJ France. They have also been providing each provider their own streams."

vTuner are currently batting the issues with their new streaming model around with NRJ France to try to resolve them.
