Fixed: Some albums shown categorised under the wrong artist
Fixed: UPnP server - Some artists views have albums missing

Since update DHCP network connection lost and not yet able to find a way to reconnect

After several restarts now working again

No problem here with 4 units.
Graham, you should restart the Core after the update, unplug it, wait for 1 minute before replugging it.

Definitely do hard power down and up after firmware upgrade on core

We released 5.4 today. This is a very minor update that addresses a UI bug for Uniti Core users.
As Jon says above we recommend powering down your core then powering on again after the firmware update
Happy listening

Afraid to speak too soon, but this is the first evening in a long time when I have had no connection problems (rooms not found, etc).

Still no magnifying glass icon for searching! Please give it me back.

I have had 4 cds out of four hundred which have not rippped, all seem to get hung up on the last one or two tracks. To the naked eye the cds look OK, will eventually try on my computer. However I did feedback to naim that the uniti core seems to keep trying forever and does not spit the cd out?
Posted on: 26 January 2017 by jon h
it will eventually spit the disc out, but it might be some hours

Or I presume the Core (like the Unitiserve) also has the manual eject pinhole you can use to eject a CD if required? I use a paper clip.
It may or may not help you Gazza but when I get a CD that doesn't rip on my US, I tend to find that giving the CD a really good clean with a lint free cloth (top and bottom side, edges too) before re-inserting to attempt to rip generally works for me, might take a few attempts.
I guess out of my 700 or so I have had maybe 3 or 4 older ones from late 80's/early 90's that I haven't managed to rip, so the above doesn't always work, but it does most of the time.

The eject button works fine, and maybe as Jon suggests it eventually spits it out, but I think a finite 30 minutes or do should be the max? I have kept the discs that failed to one side and I will retry after a superclean
thanks

Re: CD Rips Failing
Please use the in App feedback section (Setting > Feedback) to send in details of any CDs that don't rip (title, artist, label and year), we can then try them and hopefully improve the process. All info sent via the app Feedback is confidential so no need to be embarrassed about your Gloria Estefan collection

Don't forget that the "last few tracks" on a CD are at the outer edge of the CD, not in the middle like an LP...

Yes these are at the outer edge

i have tp redeem my TestFlight account. How can I do that?
Posted on: 26 January 2017 by hungryhalibut
The seek to time slider is not working right, at least with the iPhone and the Qb. You move the bar and about a second later the music moves. It used to be smooth and instant on 5.3.

There isn't a beta at the moment, so Test Flight won't help you. You should download the release version 9.4 from the App Store.

Still some overlapping texts, on iPhone... Happens after a search trough the whole songs sorted in alphabetical order.

Sorry I'm late in replying, I only just saw your question. It was on upnp - I didn't think seek to time worked with anything else. Does it?

Apologies if it is already reported, there are overlapping texts also with iPhone...
