Naim App Customisation

Not sure if it is obvious to all as I only discovered by chance that the Inputs e.g. Digital 1, Analogue 1, etc can be renamed in the App which then reflect in your streamer. So I have renamed an analogue input to "Rega Amp" for my turntable, a digital input to "Spotify" which I stream via Apple TV. So much easier than hunting for the right input.

Indeed. You can also turn off the inputs you don't need, so they don't make the app look untidy, and you can rename your rooms, so rather than saying muso Qb it says Kitchen.

This is not a new feature, I renamed my inputs when I first got my NDX in 2014. I renamed a few to better show me & significant others what is actually going on. UPnP is renamed 'NAS', that what it is & where the stream comes from, Digital 3 is TV, Pre Tuner is FM Radio. iRadio, Tidal, USB etc do what they say & no need to change

Absolutely, and, unless this is what you meant, through automation connected to your seperate NAC, you can display your customised name of an input directly connected to your NAC on your Streamer display and Naim app... so your streamer display could say NAT05, Vinyl, CDX2 or Tape for example...
