Bristol Show 2017
Posted by: RICHYH on 05 February 2017
Really looking forward to the Bristol Show this year and can't believe it's here again!!
Some really interesting things to look/listen to and meet up with the Naim personnel again!!
And this years show is sponsored by Sunlife.
There seemed to be quite a few visitors complaining of creaky floorboards last year.

Do any young people go to these hi-fi shows or is it more for those of a certain age (and older)?
How young is young?
Last years show was the first hifi show for me. It did make me smile when [@mention:50422349809511500] and I popped into the Harberth room and found a couple of older gentlemen asleep.
Well, as long as they were breathing then no harm done.
It is OK if your speakers have a soporific effect on listeners at a show, but if they send you into a deep coma requiring mouth to mouth resuscitation then that would have been a tricky one for Harbeth to sort out.
Disclaimer: The above comments are illustrative only and are in no way a criticism of Harbeth speakers or Harbeth owners. Phew!!

Good try Jon.![]()

Any German blood in you?
I have just noticed on Naim website, for every horlicks purchased at the bar, you will receive a free Farleys rusk, and for once their are no restrictions, you can have one regardless if it's your own teeth or dentures ![]()

Wenger2015, are you sure it was a Rusk ? I'm sure it said Werther's Original....
Hi folks,
Does anyone here know whether one can pay the admission fees at the main door or are the tickets specifically on-line purchase only?
Last time I went was a couple of years ago and i'm sure I paid at the door, just need to know if this is still the case - I have tried searching but i can't find any information as such - so i just thought i'd try here.
cheers, Steve
Hi, yes you can pay at the door, buy on line if you don't want to queue...

Amongst us lot that doesn't help!
Hair???? Lucky chap!
One with the hair ? that narrows it down by at least 50%

Drinking a coffee in the bar now

This discrete little device is available at the ticket kiosk for those of us in need.
Finkfan, thank goodness for that I thought you were going to say that you had a sneak preview of the new Focal headphones.
