Naim App - niggly problem

Posted by: al9315 on 22 February 2017

QNap / Minimserver / android tablet

I am sure this did not happen before:-

e.g. Naim App / albums album cover pictures appear in rows of 5 - scrolled down to "L.... " - (title of disc) - opened up and listed tracks - changed my mind - touched the back arrow bottom of the screen - albums reappeared but at "I" - then would have to scroll down about 15 rows of 5 to get back to "L...."

Surely it should just go back to the same place on the menu ?

Hope I've explained problem OK?

Any ideas ?

I've just checked with my iPhone and it works perfectly here - when you go back to the album pictures they are exactly where they were previously. Maybe clearing the caches on your tablet might work.

I get the same with my Android phone al9315 (via Unitiserve / Android phone).

I will raise this in the Beta test team when the next Beta version gets released to us if this issue is still the same (I think a new Android Beta is due soon)

Seems that the iDevices don't do this then Nigel, hadn't really picked that up when using my iPod Touch, Ill check it later when Im back home.

My phone running Android does it. I don't use it very often.

Thank you all for the replies - very helpful

I had a word with Phil at the weekend and he has asked me to send him a video of problem, which I will do. He has not come across it before.

It is to be honest worse than niggly - it is annoying, and as stated previously, I am pretty certain it did not used to happen, possibly after one of their firmware upgrades ?

Hopefully to be resolved soon

Thanks again
