I've heard them once, from a certain distance (the hall was crowded) at the last TopAudio, 2012. They were playing vinyl (perhaps one of the 5 discs used at audio shows among the tenths of thousands of music records in existence), it could have been Belafonte or something.
I received an impression of the greatest effort ever made to make a machine sound like reality. I wasn't impressed, although it was a sort of circus number. Ultra clear, ultra realistic. They were the Anat III or the like. But then, when Pistorius wins a running game with titanium legs, I still am here with my flesh ones and my wooden pianoforte. I hope not to sound cynical, but I am up to the neck with these moon-race technological exploits. This American war among Wilson and Magico with YGAcoustic playing the third party is boring me no end. I still have to hear a double bass sound so natural as in the N-Sats (lower octave apart).
My opinion only,
M
