Just wanted to share my experience with Chord Mojo.
There is a Billy Idol album I am listening to BFI Live - the CD is not available, only on Vinyl and on Tidal.
And for the first time ever in my life, I am quite annoyed that the CD will not be available, and I can only buy the Vinyl.
I am really enjoying this album on my Chord Mojo DAC in my car and office (Naim don't make any portable machines - will they someday?), - but the point is, Chord Mojo really makes music so enjoyable that I don't wish to buy the Vinyl anymore.
That makes Mojo, for me, the best hi-fi kit I ever bought
.
Naim and Linn, you were right all along, source first really works (in my car and in my office, I don't have my Naim amplifiers or my Dynaudio speakers, but it still rocks ... !)

I'm using a Mojo with an A&K AK100 ii driving HD650s with Cardas - a great system when on the move or staying in hotels, particularly with 192/24 files. I've tried feeding it with downloaded Tidal (offline) files from my iphone 7 plus, but the results are less impressive. I've also put it between my MacBook and my main system playing Tidal MQS , and to play the A&K on my main system - again the results are generally disappointing, worse than my NS01 and much less enjoyable than vinyl.

Agree with you all on how amazing the DAC is, I have it running from a raspberry pi 3 with Moode, hifiberry digi+pro into 102/150. Lots more of everything compered to the unitquite I had before!

Emre - I agree, about 50% too high. I suppose if you have no other source it's a worthwhile add-on, but the UI relies on a smart phone, I think, which could alternatively be the source at no cost.

well the poly is a bit expensive... but it won't stop me buying one
On the other hand, I have no issues with my iPhone driving my Mojo, so maybe an 256GB iPhone 7 is better VFM for me.

Analog, bought one on the strength of your post (no pressure, was almost there anyway lol!).... totally agree with you, it's awesome!
it delivers pretty much 90% of the sound of vinyl which really worries me; vinyl will always be the source of choice for me but when I consider the MoJo is 10% of the purchase price of my Linn set-up.........has me wondering?!

well the matching chord streamer will soon be available, it is called called Poly...
JoexNaim, I am also a vinyl fan, but you will soon find out, Mojo doesn't take any enjoyment away from Vinyl, but it really gives musical enjoyment to the point where I would rather own the digital version rather than the Vinyl.
Chord Dave DAC, well , it takes this enjoyment even much further....
PS : how is your luxman amp sounding?

Thanks Analog.
I now have a 590ax Luxman. It is the best amp I have ever owned ( oh dear, we've all heard that one before lol ).....I must be a class A lover and if it chews through my electricity, so be it.
Class A seems to deliver all the sonic pleasures I felt was missing from AB; warmth, delicacy, real sweetness in the treble and tangible deep bass. The beguiling liquidity of the sound provides a great balance for digital too, which has been the real eye-opener for me.
