Darren at Class A did my pair a couple of weeks ago. (As well as my 82, NAPSC and HICAP, all turned round in under 6 hours, he's a star.) I played music at normal levels listening in the evenings, and streamed Internet radio at medium/low levels the rest of the time, the work was done on a Tuesday, the whole system started singing Saturday evening, so 4 days of constant use. There's been improvement in the following fortnight, but 4-5 days got them to sounding stunning.

What did they that did the service suggest for break-in time?

I had mine done by Darran at Class A last year, together with my NAC52 and Supercap, and I reckon it took nearer four weeks before they were really singing. Certainly at first they sounded quite hard. They were powered continuously, but only used infrequently to play music during that time. Hope that helps.

Which dealer is authorised to do 135 servicing?

It's dangerous to extrapolate from 2 different people's experience, I may just be more tolerant to a hard edge than Clive B, but I would suggest that if your domestic circumstances allow, keeping music playing all the time will speed up the process. I had Radio 3 Iradio streaming while I wasn't actively listening, at the highest volume that didn't interfere with working from home or sleeping. During the first few days, there was a very hard edge, and a period where the bass disappeared , but they're now singing. Still improving, greater clarity and rhythm still appearing, if they keep improving more I'll be delighted,  you'll love them when they're run in. Enjoy!

well, i'm living in Israel, so the Israeli authorized dealer/technician (for the last 40 years) did the 135's and few months ago I took my 52 to Darren and he recapped it.

actually I just upgraded from 250 and the 135 (fresh recapped) are improving by the hour. certainly already better than the 250.

thanks for your kind help

Up to 8 weeks, I'd say - based on my Olive 250 experience.
