Muso switches inputs without me

Posted by: Skip on 28 March 2017

Recently, our MuSo has begun to switch inputs with no help from me.   We run it from the App but use the remote to change volume.   There is zero chance we are hitting the remote by accident.

The MuSo Is usually set up to Digital to play from our TV via toslink.  Recently, it has begun to switch to Bluetooth or TV where there are no inputs playing.   This is driving my wife crazy.

Can one of you help me understand what is happening based on your experience with a similar problem?  Sounds great and works well otherwise.

Skip, you might want to have a word with Naim support.  I recall a recent thread where another member had this problem when they were using the TOSlink input.  It seems that once the TOSlink was removed all went back to normal again. I'm not sure what the outcome was.

I use the TOSlink input without any issues (my Muso is the TV's soundbar).     Is it possible that you have a mobile device trying to use it as an Airplay source?

I think this could be it.   Just set up my phone for the car.   Thanks.

I don't want to go away from Toslink for the TV if I can avoid it.  It all sounds really good now and I needed to get new TV to make it all work together!
