HiCap or Flatcap on an 82?

Sounds dumb but wouldnt a flatcap be able to power all the rails wheras the Hicap only half ?

Yes, but it would still be less good.

..and it would need to be a Flatcap 2x or 2xs.  

But, as HH confirms, a single Hicap is better by quite a margin.
