Yes.

It is an improvement over the Grahams Hydra it replaced.

I use one in my system. Not much bling and fancy stuff, and it's effective.

you meant 'wireworld'?

yes, i use one in my 2nd system and also another one to power my network components. i more or less take it for granted really...

enjoy...

Yes I do. It distributes power to my boxes as expected.

I use one and it made a positive difference to sound compared to the no name extension block I was using before (removed a hardness from the music). I also compared it to a much more expensive isotek evo product and the wireworld was clearly better in my system.

I have two of those - neutral is probably the best word to describe it.

Im no expert here, but I did used to run a small power station 2 * 1.8MW turbines with a diesel for backup

I would connect the items with the largest current drain ie: power amp, nearest to the power cord which I assume is socket 1.

Wireworld Matrix 2 is star-wired, so connection sequence is not important. Each socket has the same priority.

beat me to it!

Id still probably put the power amp in socket 1, out of habit.

Thank you everyone, I will try it later.

Hi Folks, what power cord are you using on the Wireworld Matrix 2 with your system ?

I'm picking one up next week to power NDX, HDX, HICAP, NAPSC (those 2 into 82) and 2 * 135, my feeling being that at the price it's worth a punt, if it doesn't deliver it's a quarter of a single Powerline, so I won't feel a huge loss. I'm planning to try it with a Powerline Lite as a feed.

Eoink, I feed mine with a powerline and I suspect that's best.

Thanks David, I'm going to try with the Lite, but I expect a full fat PL will be needed, but worth a try.

I feed mine with a Powerline too

Mine is also fed with a Powerline, as are all my Naim boxes.

Hi David, just feed the PL to the power bar only, other naim box use the normal one ?

Posted on: 17 April 2017 by nigelb

I used to feed my Matrix 2 with a Powerline but then put the Powerline from the Matrix 2 to my 250DR and fed the Matrix 2 with a Supra LoRad 2.5mm. I believe it was better this way but as with all these things, a marginal improvement at best I would say. Worth experimenting though if you can be bothered.

Powerline into everything. It's best, I'm afraid!
