Just added Nait 3-the "pop".

Just added Nait 3 picked up today to my office system, a pair of Klipsch KG 3.5 with Krite upgraded compression tweeters and new capacitors to cross over, listening to Antonio Forcione "Tears of Joy" just beautiful music and this is a lovely paring of the Nait 3 with Klipsch speakers all the power they will ever need. But surprised at turn on to the "pop" followed by a smaller "pop" and have read some threads that this is normal , but just to be sure, no risk of damage with volume turned all the way down to turn on/off while connected to speakers?

Oh wow, "Don't Worry Baby" by the Beach Boys, once again they do the Naim thing 30 watts replacing a 100 watt receiver and it isn't even close, so much more detail and flow to the music at so little power. Never forgot watching a Kenwood power amp with gauges 1 watt was a lot of dynamic sound through efficient speakers. Now Sir Paul, "Yesterday", saw him a couple years ago on a beautiful summer night at an outdoors baseball field, chills remembering, 40,000 people singing with him. Music, it makes us laugh, it makes us cry. Got to get some sleep now.

Thanks for your advice on my worry---oh, ending with "Surfer Girl" that guitar intro and drum head whacking out the rhythm, and those voices.

As has been said many, many times previously: 1. The pop is normal. 2. Leave the amplifier switched on all the time.

I was there too. Safeco with the Sirvana encore, right?

I've always been curious about this recurring concern with the "pop". It is, after all, far less a dynamic pop than encountered with most rock music typically played. To me it's less than the equivalent of a typical kick drum hit. So why worry?
