Posted by: taffyboy4u on 24 April 2017

Hi all

I'm using a michell iso phono stage in between an LP12/iTTOK/dv20L and a Nac122x/nap250 and wondered what input would be best/worst connecting the output from phono stage ?

anyone else use a michel phono stage in a naim setup? not sure if well suited but it was a good buy.

any help most appreciated

Any apart from Aux2 would be your 'best' option.

Aux 2 is fine but use the regular DIN5 input and not the powered one.

I like the ISO although haven't used one in a Naim system.  What power supply do you have on the 122x? It's an unusual preamp to be paired with a 250..

I'm using a non-Naim PSU.

Eeek! I have just found out that NAC122x has two Aux2s, one powered and one not. Sorry. So use the unpowered as Richard says.

Why is it unusual Richard? is it not suited?
