Playlist files on the Core

Does the Core actually store playlists like the Unitiserve does? I'm guessing it doesn't, and you just have to use the Naim app playlist system, where they are stored on the iOS or Android device. 

I believe the Core stores the playlist on the drive where the music is. My music is on the internal drive of the Core. I stand to be corrected though.

I hope you are right, as on the Unitiserve this is a better and more reliable playlist system than the app one.
