how long will it take to run the Twenty5 23 in?
If you wont like them maybe forever, but you could get used to them evevtualy.
Does the manual not say?
The key is the +. My twenty.23s took absolutely ages. The answer is just to listen to music and enjoy it, and don't worry about running in.
After 100 hours sound superb
They will get a lot better in a few weeks, so that's something to look forward to.

Yep, ages...
And my twenty.21s take about 10 minutes to warm up (at low level listening) after which the speakers are a good 3dB louder!
I got mine about six weeks ago. I would say it takes a month or so to loosen up. It's also worth playing about with the positioning. To my ears at least I think they need less toe in that the manual says.
About 6 feet apart with some toe and 30 inches off back wall

To mine too!
30 inches! Not CM?
My local dealers run in the pmc's by placing them front to front really close....then run speakers out of phase....this cancels out allot of base.....they then crank up the volume and let them bake over the weekend.....

Indeed quite much for front ported speakers.

I had always assumed that the reason for running in speakers out of phase was that the opposing drivers would then 'work' each other, and speed up the physical running in process, rather than to cancel out bass as such.
Chrissu you probably have a point .... the base drivers would get more assistance as they are mutually tracking each other in very close proximity.....hmmm

Quite - one speaker is run out of phase to the other and this cancels a lot of the sound output when placed facing each other. I don't think you can anything from them working against each other as the main gain comes from working the drivers surround and spider.
Yes inches
