All I can think to say is,"oooohhhh!"

Cheers my Man - enjoy your (well deserved) bier ![]()
The T-606 reminds me of the Neat Ultimatum XLi, too bad it is discontinued now. I like the Neat sound
I wonder about room positioning. The 808's i've seen seem to be happy out in the room or close to rear walls so hopefully these will be the same. I really like the look of these ![]()

You do know where Derek Gilligan of Kudos used to work, right?
sunbeamgls posted:Here are the T-707 and T-606 stood next to each other. The 606 is, indeed, very similar in size to the Super 20, but it would appear to be a league higher in performance, from what I heard today, but then it is twice the price. Mid-bass driver is very similar to the Super 20 but will have a longer stroke to cope with more power. The tweeter is based on the SEAS beryllium chassis and motor but with the Cresecendo dome.
The 606 looks pretty elegant with the grille in place.
There will be a T-505 stand mount later - around the 7k gbp mark, also isobaric (ish).
System is NDS/555, 552/555 and 500DR. Thankfully the HDX wasn't in use today...
Great pics. Are they spiked feet?

Sure I do, that's why these new baby Titans are so interesting to me ![]()
I don't really want to admit it, but I do rather like the look of the T-606s - damn it ![]()
T stands for Tiny instead of Titan here (says someone loving CM1's being 28 cm tall).

Let's go with Tasty ![]()

Ha ha me too. The pic on the Kudos website does them no justice. Reckon that S20s are a more realistic ownership proposition for me though.
Any word from them about possible activation with Snaxo ?
Regards
Roberto
T-606 does look Tasty as noted earlier, but from the Cymbiosis launch invitation:
"Prices for these new models are £13000.00/pair for the Titan 707 and £9000.00/pair for the Titan 606. "
More than I was hoping for.
Will be very interesting to hear whether these justify 2X the price of the S20s.
That's pretty much what Derek said at Bristol this year, I think it was £12-14k for the 707s and £8500-ish for the 606s. The 707s, given their abilities in relation to the 808s, seemed to me good value at that price at that time and I suspect the 606s may well prove the same. The 707s were certainly (and understandably, given the price difference) in a different league to the S20s.
Is that Super Lumina speaker cable being used? It would make sense, but it looks chunkier and a thought the plugs were black.

Yes, it is SL. Colour of plugs is probably an effect of the flash.
Just think what they'd sound like with Sarum T ![]()
The SL cables connected to the 606 have lengths of sleeving where the wires join the plugs. Mine don't have that. I wonder if the design has been updated.

Kudos do use internal wiring made by The Chord Company, and to fabulous effect for the 808s
i expect the 606 and 707 have too, so using Sarum T or Music cables is up for synergy : )
Debs
Really liking Kudos design direction. Elegant looks that stand out from a crowd of boring boxes.
Yesterday the family was completed by the arrival of the central 808 metal port deflector thingummies. Here the proportions are illustrated very nicely.
