I can see how much of my 2TB I have left in "manage music/configure music stores/view music stores"...but I can't see the number of CDs...

Am I missing something or just being particularly dim??...

If you look in the albums view in the app when you are looking at the Core (not upnp in a streamer) then the number of albums is at the bottom of the screens of albums. So scroll down to the bottom and there it is.

Nice to see that some of the old N-Serve features have survived!

With the new Core can you actually stop a track with a sort of stop button ? When I first had my serve it took me a few days before I could figure out how to stop the damn thing.

You can pause the queue and then clear it, or replace it or restart it playing. So I think that's a yes.....
