SL cable direction

Having found a lot of imprecision searching the forum, please can you confirm the correct way of determining cable direction.

Source (Amp end?)  I have light grey rubber packer in block with Naim logo upside down on cable when holding end with plugs in my right hand and rest of cable in left  (n of Naim is upside down and nearest the plugs ).

The other end has dark grey/black rubber packer, logo correct way up on cable when holding plugs in right hand......

No instructions in box or guide on web site.

Have been using Chord Odessey 2 now for well over year with system heavily used for music and TV via nDAC. The PL lights on the 282s SuperCap DR and NAPSC have made a huge difference to soundstage, fine detail of recording venue acoustics, voice and instrument nuances already. I'm demoing to see if there is more to give.

Phil,

I don't know for sure about the SL cables but on the Hi-line a light grey insert in the strain relief indicated source end.  I'd imagine that the SL cables are the same.

Thanks for your thought. Open to everyone now. Shame Naim don't provide a guide with all the good stuff on the forum about dressing and ground contact. I have carpets.

There should be an instruction sheet in the box which explains directionality.

Assuming you are talking about the speaker cables..... they have the Naim logo on them, very small. The signal goes in the direction of the writing - the n goes at the amp end.
