I have very positive expectations for products produced in Japan, cars, electronics, etc. The Japan pressed MFSL LPs I own are of excellent quality. The article you linked to does indicate that the plant will serve primarily Asian markets, though with internet sales these would seem available world wide. I'd be interested to see a list of albums scheduled to be pressed by Sony's new plant in Japan.
