All Blacks vs Lions

Test decider tonight. It's been 80 years since the ABs lost a series after winning the opener, and they haven't lost at Eden Park for 23 years. The Lions have done better than some of the media here suggested they would, including winning more than two games. Packed stadium, with half of them Lion's fans. Should be a ripper.

ps go the ABs.

Just heard Sean Fitzpatrick and Brian Moore on the radio. As you say, let's hope for a 'ripper'.

no champagne for anybody!

But what an awesome and bone crushing display of commitment by both sides.

I played rugby for my school, but after watching games like this I am very glad I didn't continue playing at a higher level. Absolutely frightening!

I reckon Lions more likely to be celebrating than ABs.

Sadly I only got watch the second test but just caught the last 10 mins of  today on the radio and that was gripping enough.

Rugby the winner!

It was a wonderful test series. The Lions continued to get stronger as the tour went on as they sorted out their combinations. It was an utterly absorbing final test and I thought the draw was a fair result. There was some talk early in the tour that this may have been the last Lions tour to New Zealand, but they played so well that they will be welcomed back with open arms. Also the Lions supporters were wonderful ambassadors for the UK and Ireland, and we are sad to see them go.
