Naim Audio Headphones

When are they going to make some? I really want some decent portable ones for music on the go, but cannot bring myself to buy any of the current offerings. Ok there are good brands like sennheiser available, but I am surprised this is a product line that Naim haven't ventured into as yet?
I thought the naim was Focal for headphones as well as speakers?
Indeed

Indeed!
The problem is that 'headphones' are actually several separate markets, and they're all very different technically from every other branch of HiFi - best left to the specialists.
Given the engineering complexity that went into Naim speakers i shudder to think of what the final apparatus could look like. Decoupled earphone pods, spikes resting on the side of your head and the whole thing decoupled by leaf springs. Then there are the super flexible NAC-A5 connecting cables...
The Active versions...
Not to mention the power supplies. Don't even go near the Statement version

Which made my Lambda Pros look normal.
Naim also spent a considerable amount of time and resource on file sharing.
For copyright reasons it never took off!
Even without copyright issues I don't think it would have flown!

After much deliberation, Thomas decided that he would stick to bulbs...
Glad to see they are keeping abreast of the competition.
Amazing. I see this thread is not going to really answer my question but it's entertaining nevertheless!
Well going back to your original question Lewis you mention you're looking for 'phones for music on the go but don't mention source or budget ?

Hi James,
It would be via my iPhone to begin with, budget, well lets see what suggestions you guys have!
Naim has found that the bass definition is better when you use spikes under your shoes.
Hi Lewis - Well i'd recommend my personal favourite, the Shure SE846 IEMs. They really need a dedicated player to get the best from them but they still sounded fine when i tried them with my Iphone.
