Lightening forecast tonight.

You know what to do.

Keep calm and carry on ?
To be pedantic, I think you will find that it will get dark tonight rather than lighter. But some thunder and lightning is forecast, so I will unplug the Naim before bed.
Pedantic? On the Naim Forum. Surely not....
Perhaps start with spelling lightning correctly in the thread title Adam. Grrrr....
Actually I am cooking a Thai green curry for my lady, no M & S here!

Just had mine but my HiFi financier cooked it for me. Not a pot of cook-in-sauce anywhere to be seen - well, not that she admitted to. Just settled down to listen to the Prom with a glass of wine in hand. Let's hope the storm holds off before I need to pull the plug on everything
You should perhaps mention the region or the country or at least the continent ...
London area JF, but N France and most of England it seems.
OK, thought so, but couldn't keep that remark to myself
More Power Igor!
If it doesn't contravene any forum rules then www dot lightningmaps dot org is highly entertaining. Currently the storm appears to be over Maidenhead.
Flashing (lightning) like the paparazzi in north London now. All Naim boxes switched off, and unplugged at the wall.
There's also a large band active in the Channel at the moment, which looks like it's about to hit the coast, so anyone near the S Coast from Sussex to Devon will probably see some fireworks pretty soon.

Not only the lightning blowing off a storm tonight.
Apparently the storm hit Cornwall this afternoon

Hopefully ditto internet connection.
Now rumbling away over N Wales, which won't concern most of the UK population, but everything unplugged here....

That's a great website! But lightning in UK Is nothing compared to continental Europe - just accidentally widened the map and par of Germany looks as if in the middle of a WW2 bombing raid. Maybe normal for storms there, but it looks vicious!
Having switched everything back on, I'm suffering from the cooled-down 552 (and 300) blues. With a modest volume it's ok but anything post-9.00, it's sounding unemotional and bass-light. Bugger!
