New Uniti front screen

While I do think that the new uniti design deserve more credits than criticism, I wonder if am I the only one who is concerned about the front touch screen (made of some plastic/perspex) becoming a scratch magnet?

I really don't need that kind of response SA, & you are missing the point.   I'm not a brilliant parent far from it, I was away travelling for most of the time so if anyone was brilliant it was not me. I got lucky & so did my family & I freely admit that. We've had the 2 year old supermarket meltdowns & all the other normal kid misbehaviour up to wayward teenagers.  The point is about 2 year olds & little fingers turning volume controls & pushing in tweeter domes.  We were very firm, some said too firm,  over what was out of bounds & not allowed to be touched.   To us it was just common sense & included hifi, TV, power plugs, hot water, anything cooking, stairs, doors, the list is endless.  That was with 2 year olds.   We managed to get lucky for most of the rest

I run a pub and the kids that visit with their parents fall generally into two categories: beautifully behaved and endearing; downright bl**dy nightmares. Strangely, there doesn't seem to be any middle ground with the behaviour of children who visit our pub! The former are a joy and the parents seem in total control. With the latter, the parents seem to have no control, and no desire to exert any control. I accept that the personality of the individual child will play a significant role in that child's behaviour but I do see a trend in ever-greater freedom being allowed by parents to let their little treasures 'express themselves' free of the 'hindrance' of parental guidance. Not in all cases by any means, but definitely a trend.

We do have two grown-up children of our own to put this into some context. Like Mike we either got lucky or managed to do something right.

To the OP - I apologise profusely for the diversion from the topic in question. Just needed to share.
