You can. Read the manual to see how to set the Qute to fixed volume. You need a 2 phono to 5 pin din lead. 

Person asks question that they could have answered by looking in the manual. Person goes to the effort of answering the question. Person asking says nothing, not even 'thanks'. Person answering wonders if person asking has read answer. 

I have read your answer for which many thanks, am still reviewing optimum way forward which is why I haven't responded earlier as I may have further questions. I am obviously not as familiar with the instruction manuals as you are which is why I raised the question on the forum.

Looks like you and the OP "person" have differing social media validation expectations, but you managed to solicit acknowledgement for your effort. Must be gratifying.
